Bus V Two Taxis
A bus driver loses control of a single decker on A30 Islington's ground. A bookshop is struck at speed as well as two cabs. Several people on the bus are injured as well as pedestrians. HEMS were on the scene as crews from Euston arrived.
''More than 20 people were injured when a coach ploughed into a shop front during the rush hour. police have launched a major investigation to etablish the cause of the accident, which left the coach driver seriously injured and created traffic chaos for more than four hours.
It is believed the coach collided with a car in Whitechapel around 3.15am before veering off the raod smashing into the shop.
The driver and the other injured passengerswere being treated in Royal London Whitechapel Hospital. No one in the car was injured.'' (Article from Evening Standard.)
