Camden Market Fire
Twenty pumps and three Ariels were
used to bring this large fire under control at the famous Camden Market. Crews
used a total of fifteen jets from every angel to douse the flames which at
times reached over fifty feet into the air. Crews worked well into the next
day in order to reach deep seated hot spots. The market is a centre for artwork
of all natures in London and the damage was contained to the east side of
the bridge, the Stables Market area (west side) remains open. Many thanks
