A231 collapsed into roadway
On christmas Eve crews were called to a flooding in a private property. Whilst working to pump out the water which had flooded to a depth of five feet, the roadway collapsed underneath the front wheels of A231. This revealed the source of the leak from the damaged mains and also that the tyres had come close to fracturing a gas main.
