View second year View Third Year Messages: Hi, Hi - Id just like to say thanks to the firemen that I met on Leicester The boys that I nanny for absolutely adore them - bit of a shame that
Thanks again from the crazy english nanny who put a plastic firemans hat on one
of u!
To the Firemen, Thank you so much for showing me around the station on the 25th It was the best leaving present ever! I can't wait to see the photos! That crazy aussie girl....Anna Hi Hey y’all-this is Katie who visited around Jan. 16th and I just wanted to say thanks a lot for letting me come in and look around. My tour got cut short ,however, I did get to see your rescue truck (which was very nice) and took a picture of someone sliding down the pole. We obviously do not have a pole as all of our stations are one story, although strangly enough, people who visit still ask if we have one. People also ask if we have a dog in which we don’t because one of the guys was allergic to it-maybe we should have gotten rid of him instead do you think? Anyway, thanks again and y’all are welcome to come visit our station here in Auburn, Alabama, if you ever find yourself here. Katie Hey Euston, Hello! Hello, Take care and be safe!! Hi there, p.s We both thought the web site is fabulous.Very informative
.Nice clear close up photos.A well layed out and varied site. Just what
we're looking for. Keep it going that way please. Graeme would like to say a very big thank you to the stn
officer and all the firefighters who took the time to talk to him and
show him around the appliances, especialy to the guys of red watch who
let him hose down the car park.thanks for the t-shirt and the other gifts. I had some happy days at Euston, with Stn Os Dickie
Bird and Ted Kington, this was around 1970.Posted in on promotion to Lfm,
after just six weeks promoted to temp sub officer and in charge of the
station for 3 months. White watch biggest bunch of reprobates at the time,
but I got on famously with them.Great site, Great station. Just a short missive to say how much I enjoyed the browse through your web site, a lot of work has been put into it. I served at C27 Clerkenwell White Watch 1964 for a couple of years enjoying the rule under the old LCC when the GLC came into power the old regime was not the same came onto your ground for the odd shout the white watch at that time were good bunch of lads best wishes to you all. Alexander McBride. Guys your doing a great job, The locals out here in
Baghdad could do with a spot of your help every now and then. It was a
great pleasure and infact an honour (very proud moment of my life) working
with you guys ,and i have had the teams out here in stitches with some
the funnies that the euston crews found ourselves in. Keep safe fella's
Well to everyone at Euston Fire Station, what a FANTASTIC
website you have put together. I joined the London Fire Brigade in 1995
and served for just over seven years at Euston Fire Station. In 2002 I
transferred back to the North West where I now work for the Greater Manchester
Fire & Rescue Service. My seven years at Euston were the best days
of my life, (to date) browsing through your website has brought back many,
many happy memories for me. It was an honour and privilege to serve with
all of you at Euston and in these uncertain times facing the Fire Service
I urge you all to stay true to your beliefs. I look forward to seeing
you all again one day. Hi, all the best and keep up the great work you do - Brian Moffatt. (Q+A session done) Hi there from Hampshire. Thank you for many happy memories, although I never
served at Euston, I did have occasion to standby with C27 Clerkenwells
pump on more than one occassion. I was with the LFB from 1961 to 1981.
Reading the names of those who served at Euston, rekindled old memories
of the shouts with the ET etc. You guys have put together a great site
which pays a very great tribute to those who served with the Brigade at
Euston and other stations, Thank you. What a great website! Full of great info and superb
pictures, now if only we had those kind of shouts here in sleepy Suffolk
:) Just shows what a great asset London has in its FFs and the FRU crews
in particular, if they ever get to the shout!
Gareth (http://www.freewebs.com/suffire) I would just like to say what a great london fire
fighter Brian Freeman is, not only is he the best Sub-Officer but the
best dad!!!! Altogether now, aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh(Dad
I better get paid for this)
Jodie Freeman Congratulations on a superb website! I, along with
the greatest team of trainers ever assembled were responsible for training
the Fire Rescue Unit crews at Euston during the mid 90's. I have never
in all my service met such a dedicated and committed team of fire fighters,
as the FRU crews from Euston. They are all a credit to the Brigade and
to the people of London whom they serve. My best wishes to you all,
Pete Gwilliam Greetings from PA (THEFIRESTORE.COM) great website. Visit our website u guys might find some things that u r interested in. b careful, reggie It looks like I`m only the second one to view this
web site or at least sign in.
When the website is finished it might be quite reasonable. How about a contact page for ex-Euston members? You never know some of those `real` Firemen might actually want to talk to each other. From the look of your photographs half the current personnel look incapable of speaking anyway, eating a lot yes! Ken Wheatley Ex Euston personnel, email the site if you would like a contacts page What a website! It was well worth waiting for. Oh by the
way is that Richard with his hand on his hip in the photo? DONT EDIT MY
MESSAGE EITHER!
